Hamilton schoolgirl's awesome coronavirus rap over Dr Dre and Snoop Dogg classic

A sassy schoolgirl gave a show-stopping performance for her family with a funky rap about coronavirus.

Auchinraith Primary pupil Ayla Getchell, of Hillhouse in Hamilton, can be seen in a video recorded by her dad Jordan Thomson appearing from behind the curtain before belting out her hilarious lyrics.

In her rap, the nine-year-old urges people to stay home and stay safe and points out “so please listen and stick to the rules, do not go out, don’t be fools”.

Ayla’s proud  mum Kirsty Louise told the Advertiser: “Ayla was staying with her dad and his partner for the weekend when they decided to help her make a rap.

“She dressed in her best get-up and took to the mic. I think she is hilarious and did very well with her coronavirus rap.

“She is definitely doing her bit to keep spirits high.”

The youngster ends her performance with a bold and fun mic drop.
