A nine-year-old Hamilton schoolboy has completed the second, most arduous part of the West Highland Way in aid of his local Thai boxing club.
Cody A'Hara walked the 52-mile route from Crianlarich to Fort William in five days with his mum Lynn A'Hara by his side.
And in completing the task he raised £900 for the Mubows Thai Boxing Club that he has attended for the last two years.
Now Cody, who attends Udston Primary School in Hillhouse, is focusing on completing the first part of the West Highland Way walk from Milngavie to Crianlarich by the end of the month.
The primary six pupil, who is a keen walker, decided to take part in the challenge to raise funds for the club after they were forced to close down their former premises due to the pandemic, losing much needed equipment in the process.
Cody is now eager to hand over the cash to his Thai boxing instructors.

His proud big sister Shelly Thomson told Lanarkshire Live : "Cody has been attending Thai boxing since he was four years old, and joined Mubows two years ago.
"He chose to raise money for his club as they had to close their previous premises due to Covid-19 and lost equipment needed for training.
"All he was focused on was raising some money to help them get new equipment for his friends at the club.
"In fact all he kept saying each day whilst doing it was that he just wanted his Thai boxing teachers to be proud of him.
"He walked from Crianlarich to Fort William which is 52 miles in five days and he is actually going to do the other part in the next week from Milingavie to Crianlarich so he can say he has completed it all this summer.
"We are all so proud of him."
The West Highland Way stretches 96 miles (154 Km) from Milngavie to Fort William, taking in a huge variety of scenery along the way, from countryside parks to loch-shores and open moorlands to steep mountains.
Normally the route is completed from south to north, the thinking behind this being the southern stages are easier and will prepare you for the more demanding northern stages.
However, Cody decided to do the hardest part of the walk first and will complete the rest of the mammoth trek this month.
