A Hamilton pub is sending out sing-sational deliveries for Valentine’s Day.
The Junkyard Bar and Grill will be lifting spirits this weekend as their talented staff prepare to greet locals with a romantic song.
And the venue’s very own Ethan Burgess will be leading the celebrations as he sings on the doorsteps of loved ones, with colleague Talia Stirling accompanying on guitar.
Recent videos show the duo preparing with renditions of All Shook Up and Burning Love by Elvis Presley as well as Dream a Little Dream Of Me by Doris Day – with more romantic classics lined up.

Junkyard owner Bernard O’Neill said: “It’s a package we’re doing mainly because the usual kind of celebrations for Valentine’s Day aren’t available, like people going out for meals and things like that, so we thought it would be something nice to offer.
“It could be a nice surprise because people wouldn’t be expecting much, but if somebody came to your door with a bouquet of flowers singing a song we thought it would maybe create a nice memory in amongst things that are all negative just now.
“We hope that it’ll be the one thing that sticks out when you look back in a few years to come, instead of being stuck in the house all the time; a wee gesture that will put a smile on your face instead.”
Bartender Ethan is currently training to be a pilot, but Bernard says the pub is lucky to have such musical talent around, with Talia also involved in plays and musicals working as a professional actor.
The pair have struck the right note, much to the delight of the landlord who is excited to see the Valentine’s Day treats go out this weekend. And they are just as excited to get out to perform and spread some much-needed cheer.
The gift package includes: two starters; two mains; two portions of skinny fries; two slices of cake; four pints of lager; four cocktails; and a bunch of roses – all delivered by the tunes of Ethan and Talia from you to your someone special.
