Parents and carers of pupils at St Ninian's Primary School in Hamilton are being urged to use the school's new swap shop.
Set up by the parent council, the uniform bank aims to help ease the cost of buying school clothes throughout the year by swapping pre-loved, good condition items instead.
As well as school uniform, parents can also donate Christmas jumpers, party clothes, plimsoles, shoes, PE kits and communion wear.
A spokesperson for St Ninian’s parent council said: "We introduced a uniform bank within the school at the start of December.
"This came about following consultation regarding ‘the cost of the school day’ and we proposed to have a continuous stock of uniform in place where parents and carers can come in and take what they require.
"The parent council would welcome donations of anything “grown out but not worn out” uniform related, including PE kits, shoes, plimsoles and uniforms with logos. We would ask that any items kindly donated are laundered beforehand.
"Donations can be made via the school office on a Monday of each week."
