Hamilton police release new image of missing man

Police in Hamilton have released a new image of a 37-year-old man who has been missing from the area since Wednesday, August 26.

Catalin Stan, was last seen at the Days Inn, Hamilton Services at around 7.30pm on Wednesday, where he is pictured.

He is originally from Romania and speaks English with an accent. He is described as 6ft tall and of medium build.

When last seen he was wearing dark grey trousers, black trainers and a dark jacket with white zip, white zip pockets and a hood. He was carrying a black rucksack.

Sergeant Dionne Stewart at Hamilton Police Office said: “The image is of Catalin where he was last seen, over a week ago, at Hamilton Services.

“We are becoming increasingly concerned for his welfare and are appealing for anyone who has seen Catalin or who is aware of his present whereabouts to get in touch.

“Anyone with information is asked to contact police on 101 quoting incident 1731 of 1 September, 2020.”
