The team at Hamilton Park have been celebrating after being crowned favourite racecourse in 2022.
The award comes from readers of the Racing Post who voted the venue top, at the prestigious Racecourse Association Showcase awards ceremony.
The Racing Post Readers’ Award is a unique award amongst the Showcase collection and is the only award decided by racegoers, with each individual invited to nominate their favourite racecourse and rank out of 100 on customer service, value for money and overall raceday experience.
Ashley Moon, Racecourse Managing Director at Hamilton Park, told Lanarkshire Live : “We are incredibly proud to have been awarded with the Racing Post Readers’ Award at the annual RCA Showcase & Awards.
"The fact that we have received this award from the public vote is wonderful, and to be recognised for all that has been achieved is real testament to the hard work from all the team at Hamilton Park.
"This has been a great year for the racecourse and we now focus our attention on making 2023 the best year yet."
Wilf Walsh, chairman of the RCA, added: “Congratulations to Hamilton Park racecourse for being crowned the racegoers’ racecourse of the year. This is the only Showcase Award to be voted for by the public which of course carries significant weight.”
