A Hamilton man was jailed for three months after admitting shoplifting and public order offences.
Hamilton Sheriff Court heard Christopher Scott, 22, stole alcohol and a plant from the town’s Asda on December 18.
Then he shouted abuse and struggled with police officers at his home in Hillside Crescent on March 13.
Scott was the subject of bail and anti-social behaviour orders at the time of the disturbance.
