A newlywed bride killed on her honeymoon in Queensland is being remembered as a beautiful soul.
Marina Hanna married her long-term partner Robbie Morgan at a lavish ceremony in Sydney on June 11.
The couple, from the Sydney suburb of Strathfield, were enjoying their honeymoon on Hamilton Island in the Whitsundays when Mrs Morgan fell from a golf buggy and died at the scene on Monday afternoon.
Friends and family have taken to social media to express their shock and disbelief.
"Our bride and groom … may God rest your beautiful soul," another person posted.
Close friends of Ms Hanna have described her as 'the most amazing, sassy, funny, loving human".
'Tragic accident'
Ms Hanna was a passenger in the golf buggy that was being driven by her husband.
Initial investigations suggest Mr Morgan was performing a U-turn after the battery started going flat.
It was during the turn that the buggy rolled on to its side.
Police say seatbelts were fitted to the buggy, but Ms Hanna was not wearing hers at the time of the crash.
"It was a tragic accident."
Those who were first on scene performed CPR for several minutes before the island paramedic arrived, but she couldn't be saved.

Battery-powered golf buggies are the main form of transport on Hamilton Island and ambulance officer Graeme McIntyre said crashes were common.
"They are a completely different type of vehicle to drive," he said.
He said the hills and narrow roads on Hamilton Island made the buggies hard to manoeuvre.
According to information on Hamilton Island's website, no training is required to be able to hire a buggy, but drivers must be at least 21 years of age and hold a valid licence.
The website says road rules must be followed when using the buggies on the island.
In a statement Hamilton Island said its deepest thoughts and condolences were with the family and friends of Mrs Morgan.
