Police are appealing for witnesses after the front door of a house in Hamilton was deliberately set on fire in a targeted late-night attack.
The incident happened at 4am on Friday, 4 December at a property on Laighstonehall Road.
The occupants were in their home at the time of the fire but thankfully no-one was injured.
Detective Constable Chelsea Stevens of Cambuslang Police Office said :“The occupants were in their home at the time of the fire, but thankfully no-one was injured.
“I am appealing to anyone who was in the area at the time who witnessed anything suspicious, or who has information that will assist this investigation to contact us through 101 quoting reference number 0313 of 4 December.
"Alternatively Crimestoppers can be contacted on 0800 555 111, where anonymity can be maintained.”
