His appointment as New Douglas Park boss in August brought him back to where his coaching career started - and he's been on the move ever since first leaving South Lanarkshire.
Taylor has cut his teeth in management with Irish side Limerick and a trip to Qatar beckoned for a new football experience.
Aston Villa, Ipswich Town, Stoke City and Wolves brought him to UK football's top table as he worked with Paul Lambert, Roy Keane, Steve Clarke, Jack Grealish and more south of the border.
Now back in the manager's chair via a short stint in Dingwall with Ross County, Taylor is in the process of a rebuilding project at Hamilton.
