Hamilton in London: Here's how you can audition for the West End musical

Do not throw away your shot. The West End production of Hamilton has announced that it will be hosting auditions in London.

The show is on the lookout for actor-singers who rap and dancers in their 20s and 30s to join the cast of the acclaimed musical.

Auditions will be held over the next couple of months, with recalls taking place later in the spring and summer. Hopefuls will need to be available to be in the show from September this year to November 2020.

They have specified that “while artists of all ethnicities will be considered for the production, it is an intrinsic requirement of the show for the majority of the company to reflect a range of BAME backgrounds”, adding that the role of King George will not be up for grabs.

Hamilton, with book, music and lyrics by Lin-Manuel Miranda, follows the life of American founding father Alexander Hamilton and has received outstanding reviews since opening in December 2017.
