A group of Hamilton Grammar teens attended an open evening at The Beatson Institute for Cancer Research in Glasgow.
The seven lucky Higher biology pupils enjoyed various lectures from leading researchers in the field and were given a backstage pass for a tour of the labs. There, they received hands-on experience with the latest technologies and procedures that experts are using in the fight to find a cure for cancer.
A school spokeswoman said: “A huge thank you to The Beatson for giving our pupils this fantastic opportunity.”
