Hamilton District Foodbank will receive a donation after a new local business named it their charity of the year.
Bayne’s Family Bakers, based in Quarry Street, have chosen to donate to Trussell Trust foodbanks across Scotland.
The Hamilton foodbank is one of nine across Scotland who will benefit from a slice of a £6151 carrier bag tax donation from the company.
