The Kurry Lounge in Hamilton were delighted to be crowned ‘Best Newcomer Restaurant’ at the annual Spice Awards.
The glittering ceremony was held at the Glasgow Marriott hotel last month where the restaurant, based on Brandon Street in Hamilton, picked up the prestigious award.
Owners Narender Singh and Dharmendra Kumar (pictured above) were absolutely over the moon at the news.
Narender said: “We were the only restaurant in Hamilton to get this award.
“ This is the second award we got this year.
“The first one was `The Scottish Curry Award’ held in April where we were also the `Curry Champion of the year 2019’.
“My team and I are very proud to represent Hamilton and to be a winners at both awards.
“A big thanks goes to all our customers for your support throughout the year. This award is dedicated to all of you.
“Also special thanks to The Kurry Lounge Team for all the hard work to make this happen.”
