Hamilton head coach Stuart Taylor reckons his side could learn from Partick Thistle's shrewd moves in a bid to get back on track in the Championship.
The Jags beat Accies 1-0 at Firhill on Saturday courtesy of Lewis Mayo's second half header - which was Thistle's first shot at goal.
Taylor's team have one win in seven matches and take on West of Scotland Football League side Auchinleck Talbot in the Scottish Cup third round this weekend.
Overall, Hamilton have won three of their 15 league matches this season and are eighth in the 10-team division.
The New Douglas Park squad Taylor is working with is youthful, and he believes they could take plenty from the experience Thistle showed them on Saturday.
"I think in the first half we were the better side in terms of how we wanted to play," said the Accies head coach. "I think we started the second half really well too.
"But Partick Thistle are a really experienced side. They can control games in terms of how they go about it with their experience. They do well in winning little free-kicks and things like that.
"It's something that we need to add to our game. We have to be a bit more streetwise. But I think we have to keep going.
"We have to work harder every single day and try to improve each day. We must try our best to try and create, to try and win games.
"We also need to keep clean sheets to give us a chance of winning games."
