Hamilton Camera Club get ready for new season

Members of Hamilton Camera Club are snap happy at the start of their new season.

And they will be hoping that everything clicks into place with a busy and varied programme of talks.

The new season begins at 7.30pm on Thursday, September 5, in Hamilton West Parish Church Hall, Clydesdale Street.

Things will kick off with the Hamilton Camera Club Hall of Fame. Then Louise Mallan will talk about baby, children and family portraits on Thursday, September 12, and Damien Demolder will be there on Thursday, September 26, to talk about street photography.

A club spokesperson said: “We have a varied and interesting syllabus this year with some interesting speakers, workshop evenings, and outings, something to suit everyone.

“New and returning members will be welcome.”

The club are exhibiting their prints at the visitor centre in Chatelherault during August and again in St John’s Church on Friday, September 6, from 9.30am to 5pm.
