Hamilton Business Improvement District bring Hamilton Classic Car Show to town

Hamilton town centre is gearing up to host its tenth annual classic car show.

The event is returning on Saturday, June 8.

And the fun-filled day is always a hit with families.

Hamilton Business Improvement District (BID) are behind the show, which will take place in Quarry Street.

Gareth Walker, BID manager, said: “Hamilton BID is delighted that June 8 brings our tenth Hamilton Classic Car Show to the town.

“When we started back in 2010 we had fewer than 50 cars on the day, and certainly didn’t expect to have reached a decade of shows. This year we expect the entry to be nearer 140.

“It’s also been great to see that most of those clubs and individual owners are still coming back each year.

“I am so grateful to these car enthusiasts who take such pride in their cars.”

The action begins at 10am and will run until 3pm.

Car enthusiasts can enjoy looking at all the vehicles, while there will also be plenty happening for the whole family.

There will be live music, street theatre and entertainment for all ages.

To join the show, or for more details, email info@hamiltonbid.org or call the BID headquarters on 01698 453352.
