Hamilton Accies boss Brian Rice reckons his Covid-hit squad deserve some respect for taking a point in Perth yesterday.
Rice's squad has been decimated by Covid, with one player testing positive and others forced to self-isolate as close contacts.
But they dug in against St Johnstone to claim a valuable point in a 0-0 draw at McDiarmid Park.
The result kept Accies above Ross County at full-time, but the Staggies' shock 2-0 win at Hibs last night pushed Hamilton to the foot of the table.
And Rice reckons he and his players deserve more respect for their efforts. He said: "“We never get it [respect], that’s my personal point of view and it frustrates me at times because I know how much my lads give.
“I think we deserved it. It was a hard working, honest performance and we deserved the point.
"We defended well as a team I think we had the best chance of the game in the first minute.
“But I know what I’ll read [in the papers] St Johnstone this and that because we’re Hamilton - but it just inspires my team.

“To come here and get a point we’re delighted.
