Hamilton and Celtic players to face SFA hearing

Hamilton Accies and Celtic could be in hot water after 'failing to control their players' during Sunday's Premiership clash.

Celtic ran out 4-1 winners at the Fountain of Youth Stadium, but it was an incident in the 13th minute of the game that has caused the fall-out.

Striker Leigh Griffiths was on Monday cleared of a 'stamp' on defender Sam Woods, but players surrounded referee Nick Walsh following the incident, and a shoving match between Griffiths and Hamilton's Alex Gogic saw them both booked.

Rule 2-4 stats that clubs, staff and players must conduct themselves in an orderly fashion during and after matches.

Confrontations, conduct likely to lead to, exacerbate or prolong hostile or argumentative situations and behaviour which might incite disorder, are particularly outlawed.

If both or either club is found guilty, they will be hit with a fine. Punishments in the Premiership range from £2500 to £20,000.
