After months of uncertainty, the wait is almost over with news that primary one new starts will indeed start school full time in South Lanarkshire next week.
Thousands of youngsters will experience their first day at school from next Wednesday as the summer holidays come to an end.
Over the next few weeks, the Advertiser will be featuring First Day at School pictures.
Our popular feature is back and we want to see your primary one youngsters in their school uniforms all set for that big day.
If you would like your child featured, send us a photograph and include your little one’s name, age, address and what primary school they are attending. Please remember to include a daytime telephone
number.
A range of pictures will be selected each week and they will be printed in the Advertiser. We also hope to put these photographs on line via our Hamilton Advertiser webpage at www.hamiltonadvertiser.co.uk.
