Hollywood actor Gianni Capaldi was back in his hometown of Hamilton this week with none other than Highlander star Christopher Lambert.
The actor, who divides his time between Las Vegas, Los Angeles and Lanarkshire, was hard at work filming scenes with French/American star Lambert for their new thriller, It's Not Over.
And it was Hamilton's popular Bar Milano and Avonbridge Hotel that became a film set for the day, where the acting duo, who play father and son in the new production, finished a further three scenes for the film.
For dad-of-two Gianni it was a proud moment being back in Hamilton plying his trade alongside Hollywood legend Lambert.
Gianni told Lanarkshire Live: "The biggest thing for me here has been that since September I've worked in Albuquerque, Minnesota, Vegas, Miami, Missisippi and more and to be able to come back here to Hamilton and shoot here, even just for one day, has been phenomenal.

"We've done other scenes in Livingston and South Queensferry, which has been great. You really can't beat being back in Scotland."
Capaldi was keen to have his pals along on set and even asked Celtic legend Murdo McLeod to play a policeman's role.
His stunning wife Amanda, mum of the couple's two children Trinity and Praiselyn, also plays a fellow cop.

Capaldi added: "A lot of friends came along as well to be extras and it's just been great giving them all an insight into what I do, and to show them something different for a day and that for me was a very proud moment.
"My aunt was in one of the scenes, as was my wife Amanda with Murdo McLeod playing police officers, and my nephews have been in a scene too, so it's really meant a lot to me. It's been a great but nerve-wracking experience bringing all this back to my hometown as it's a kind of added pressure to do well."

The 45-year-old has worked non-stop, aside from a short break due to the pandemic when he got stuck in the States, over the last few years and recently wrapped on A Day to Die with Hollywood stars Bruce Willis, Frank Grillo and Kevin Dillon.
Now, with lots of offers of work on the table and a trip back to the USA later this year, Capaldi hopes to spend the next few months or so back home in Hamilton taking care of his family and spending time with his loved ones.

He added: "I really just want to look after my family for a bit. My gran is really unwell at the minute so for me she is the most important thing, along with Amanda and the kids of course. It's so nice just being home."
