Hamilton boss Stuart Taylor says he's in constant dialogue with owner Colin McGowan and chairman Allan Maitland, but any proposed club takeover has nothing to do with him.
Ronnie MacDonald last week ended an 18-year spell at the helm of the New Douglas Park club when he transferred his shares to McGowan, who is now in sole control.
With three interested parties said to be interested in buying the Championship outfit, McGowan will decide if any of them should take control.
Taylor said: "Colin is in at the football club every single day, I have conversations with Colin a lot about how we're progressing the football club forward.
"I have conversations every single day with [chairman] Allan Maitland about how things are coming along.

"You have your bigger window, bigger picture achievements, but to go and grasp them and achieve them you have to be able to achieve your smaller, short-term goals.
"When I came in I was speaking to Ronnie, and the daily involvements is with Allan and Colin in regards to that now.
"I have absolutely nothing to do with who is coming in, who's not coming in - that has absolutely nothing to do with me."
With such a long-term involvement with the club, Taylor has been a player, coach and now boss in MacDonald's tenure, and reiterated that he has set an incredible example to any prospective new owners.

Taylor said: "I do have a level of disappointment that Ronnie is leaving the club, and I think everybody will feel that as well.
"I just hope the new people that come in will be the same as Ronnie has been, in terms of his level of commitment, work ethic and effort.
"If the next person comes in with 75 per cent of that, then we'll all be very fortunate, supporters will be very fortunate, because to ask that to be matched is incredible.
"In terms of the owner of a football club I've never seen anything like it, no matter what club I've been at or what level I've been at - I've never seen anything anywhere near it."
