Hamilton Accies sign Livingston winger Josh Mullin on season-long loan deal

Hamilton Accies have signed Josh Mullin from Livingston on a season-long loan deal.

The 28-year-old's addition represents a major coup for Accies and he will go straight into their squad for the Championship clash against Morton tomorrow afternoon.

Mullin enjoyed spells at East Stirlingshire and Albion Rovers before moving to Livingston in 2016.

After helping the Lions win promotion from League One, he moved to Ross County in 2018 and he helped them secure the Championship title in 2019.

The talented attacker re-joined Livingston last summer but he's now joined Accies on a season-long long, although the West Lothian side retain a recall option in January.

Mullin told Hamilton's website : “ This is a great club to join with real ambitions this season.

“It’s a young squad so I’m looking forward to being able to help and mentor some of the younger lads.”

Brian Rice added: “Josh is a real coup for the club.

“We were looking to strengthen at the sharp end of the park and we’ve done just that with this signing.”
