Hamilton Accies sign former Partick goalkeeper Ryan Scully ahead of Hibs clash

Hamilton Accies have announced the signing of goalkeeper Ryan Scully ahead of tonight's clash with Hibs in Edinburgh.

Scully joins on a short-term deal until January and could make his debut in the capital, with Hamilton's first choice goalkeeper Ryan Fulton expected to miss the clash.

A club statement from Hamilton Accies read: "We are delighted to announce the signing of goalkeeper Ryan Scully on a short-term deal until January.

"Scully has played for Partick Thistle, Greenock Morton and most recently Dunfermline Athletic.

"The 27-year-old will add experience to our goalkeeping squad.

"The shot-stopper will go straight in to this evening’s squad travelling to Easter Road to play Hibernian this evening."

Earlier in the week Hamilton were rocked by the news an individual at the club had tested positive for Covid-19 and earlier today Lanarkshire neighbours Motherwell saw their trip to Kilmarnock tonight called off after six Rugby Park players returned positive tests.
