Hamilton Accies recall midfielder from 'temporary transfer'

Hamilton Accies have recalled young midfielder Marley Redfern from a 'temporary transfer' to East of Scotland club Blackburn United.

The 18-year-old from Wishaw has been brought back from the Bathgate club as Accies seek to try and build their squad for the rest of this season.

Marley was one of five young players who were sent out on loans or short-term deals in October.

In a social media post, the club said: "We extend our thanks to all at Backburn for their time with Marley and wish them all the best when their season can continue."

Former Braidhurst High pupil Redfern has been with Accies sine he was eight, and signed a professional contract in 2019, having joined from WIshaw Wycombe Wanderers.
