Hamilton Accies miss out on former Celtic hero's son as goalkeeper search continues

Hamilton Accies' search for a goalkeeper continues after target Matthew Gould instead joined English National League side Altrincham.

The 26-year-old was on trial at Accies, as revealed by Lanarkshire Live Sport, but has instead signed for the Robins, under manager Phil Parkinson.

Gould is the son of former Celtic keeper Jonathan, who starred at Celtic Park from 1997-2003.

Matt, who had a spell with Livingston in 2015, joins Altrincham from non-league Spennymoor Town.
