Hamilton Accies goalkeeper coach has pre-match scare

Hamilton Accies goalkeeper Brian Potter received hospital treatment on Saturday following a pitch-side collapse ahead of the Ladbrokes Premiership match against Livingston.

The 42-year-old collapsed with chest pains and after receiving first-aid, the stricken coach was taken from the field on a stretcher.

Potter was released from hospital on Saturday night.

Hamilton's match with Livingston, which ended in a 3-3 draw, was delayed by five minutes.

Potter became part of the backroom staff when Martin Canning was appointed manager in 2015, and has remained part of head coach Brian Rice's team.
