Hamilton Accies Football Club are gearing up for their huge three-day family fun event next week.

Working in conjunction with Accies Community Trust and Youth Academy, the club will become home to a Jurassic dinosaur display, which is central to their amazing October school break event from this Sunday to Tuesday, October 12 at the Foy's stadium.

As well as the dino display there will also be a host of other fun activities including a bouncy assault course, professional climbing wall, kids bungee jump, water bubble walk, peddle cart Grand Prix, Archery aim and the sticky ball wall.

Accies Youth Academy director George Cairns will also be offering up his own football challenge with some of his young players taking on members of the public on the tech ball tables.

Children can enjoy fairground rides, participate in beat the goalie, dribble and score or take part in a fun safari quiz challenge where certificates and medals are all up for grabs.

Other attractions include Harley Davidson photo opportunities during the Widow's Sons motorbike display, removeable Hell's Angels tattoos, a fire engine and police car and all-day action from the magnificent Generation Events Company.

Food will also be available all day to buy from the kiosks in the main stand.

In addition, on Sunday October 10 revellers are invited to stay on and watch as Hamilton Accies Women's team take on Glasgow Celtic Women, where they hope to create a record-breaking crowd for the ladies.

Hamilton Accies chief executive Colin McGowan told Lanarkshire Live : "Here at Hamilton Accies we want to bring a little fun back to Lanarkshire for all the family.

The event will take place within Accies stadium (SNS Group)

"So mums, dads, carers, children, grans, grandads, aunties, uncles and cousins let's all get right behind this fun venture at your local football club and enjoy the dinosaur display and everything else we have to offer.

"All proceeds will also go towards Hamilton Accies Elite Youth Academy."

Entry is £2 per person and tokens from rides can be bought on the day for £2 each. Alternatively an all day wristband for rides and the dinosaur display costs £10 available now from the main office at the stadium and will include the £2 entry fee.
