Stuart Taylor says Hamilton Accies can't work any harder to bring in new faces, and says he's confident of two signings "today or tomorrow".
The New Douglas Park club welcome Hearts B in the SPFL Trust Trophy second round tomorrow evening, and Taylor would like to get new players in ahead of that, but stressed that they won't stand in the way of younger players' development.
Taylor has already brought in defender Luke Matheson on a season-long loan from Wolverhampton Wanderers, who made an impressive debut in Saturday's 2-1 win at Queen of the South.
He said: "If you put it down to grafting in terms of what we've done as a club, we can't do any more.

"I'm always positive, and realistic with it, but I'm confident that something will be done between today and tomorrow.
"I think two more would be good, we don't want to stand in the way of developing our own players, but if we can bring some in that are going to help them develop, improve and progress, then that's the intention.
"That is our intention, and hopefully that happens today or tomorrow."
