Stuart Taylor branded Hamilton Accies' second stoppage time sickener in a week "unacceptable" as they threw away another victory.
Last week Accies were left gutted by a 96th minute equaliser away to Morton in a 1-1 draw, and this afternoon history repeated itself as Arbroath netted in the 91st minute to grab the same result.
This time Thomas O'Brien popped up with a late header to cancel out Andy Ryan's first half penalty.
In truth, Arbroath were certainly deserving of a share of the spoils after having Accies camped in their own half for much of the second half.
But after defending so resolutely for 90 minutes, Taylor's men again buckled in injury time and it is hugely frustrating for the Accies gaffer.
He said: "Going into the last minute we really switched off.
"The ball went out for a throw-in. That's something I work on, making sure we are switched on, pick up at throw-ins and stop crosses coming into the box, but we didn't do that.
"That's really disappointing from us.
"It's a different way we've lost it compared to last week.
"It's another sore one, but it's not any sorer than last week.
"It's exactly the same: we've done well in a game and we could have seen it out, but in the last minute we've gone and lost a goal.
"You look at the last four games we've had, we've lost two late goals in the last two games when we should have come away with wins.
"It's four points dropped over the last two games.
"I guess that's something I need to look at in terms of seeing games out. Can we manage games better? We got punished for it last week and there's always lessons to learn.
"But the way we lost the goal was unacceptable.
"We need to deal with situations like stopping balls coming into the box, picking up inside the box. At this level it is not acceptable, it's not good enough."
The result keeps Accies in seventh spot in the Championship and Taylor has reiterated that his team need to kill teams off.
He added: "I think the first half we did really well at times. We got our goal with the penalty and we had another great chance with Moyo going through.
"We had a couple of good breakaways that we need to learn from and make sure we put games to bed.
"The second half we didn't pick up as many second balls as we should have and that was disappointing."
