Lewis Smith insists Hamilton have the fire-power up front to win games in the Championship, but admits he wants to weigh in with more goals.
The 21-year-old bagged his fourth goal of the season to put Accies ahead in 39 minutes, reacting well to slam the ball into the net after David Moyo's header was well blocked by keeper Charlie Albinson.
However, Tomi Adeloye levelled with a header three minutes into the second half, and could have scored more than he did.
Smith was left frustrated to only take a point from the game, and says that's exactly the type of fixture Accies need to be winning.
But he says there's no problem creating chances.
He said: "It's been all right for me this season, but I still feel that I should score more.
"The goal is a bit more scrappy, and those are the types of goal I need to score more of, because I never really seem to get them, but it was nice to score.

"We have good strikers; Moyo's playing really well recently, he's scored a couple of goals and that gives him the world of confidence - when he's got confidence he's a great player.
"Andy Ryan last week was a bit tight with his hamstring, but I think with those two we've got a good strike force.
"It is a difficult league, there are no easy games, and everywhere you go is a hard place to go to.
"In the end it's good to take a point and not lose the game, but it is those types of games - especially when we're ahead - that we're looking to win."
Smith added: "We're definitely disappointed not to take more than a point.
"The second-half performance was actually quite good from us, we had chances, and the goal is just really disappointing, because it's more of the same - a cross in the box and the boy's completely free, so in the end we're disappointed not to win."
Next up for Accies is a trip north to face current Championship leaders Inverness.
Having bagged a surprise win over the Jags in October - with Smith scoring alongside Ryan - the midfield ace hopes to do the same again.

He said: "Inverness are top of the league so it will be a tough game, but they were top of the league when we beat them the last time.
"I think that gives us a bit of confidence going into the game, so hopefully we can do the same again."
