Hamilton Accies 500/1 to pull off survival miracle against Kilmarnock

Hamilton Accies' defeat to Ross County has all but confirmed their relegation to the Championship next season.

However, if you believe in miracles, you could be in the money if you are brave enough to back Accies and they to pull off the unthinkable to stay up.

Brian Rice's men are bottom of the Premiership going into a final day clash with 11th place Kilmarnock on Sunday and need to beat the Rugby Park side by nine clear goals to avoid automatic relegation on goals scored.

The chances of that happening have been put at 500/1 by bookmaker McBookie, with both a 9-0 win and a 10-1 success set at that price.

Other bookmakers have it priced at 200/1.

As crazy a scoreline as that seems for Accies, they have hit 10 before - thumping Morton 10-2 when they were in their title-winning season in the Scottish Championship in 2014.

It would be a miracle for the ages if they pulled it off, but the club are already planning for next season with Brian Rice stating Accies now need to "embrace the Championship."
