Hamas Says Keeping All Options on the Table

Hamas informed all regional parties that all options with the Israeli occupation are on the table given the recent developments in the Gaza Strip, politburo member Husam Badran announced Wednesday.

Badran told Quds Radio in Gaza that the occupation is mistaken for assuming there won't be a response to its attacks against the Palestinian prisoners.

"The prisoners are not alone, and we have drawn up plans to confront the attacks," said Badran, stressing that assaulting the prisoners is a "red line."

Israeli guards in Damon prison have been accused of assaulting female Palestinian prisoners and putting others in solitary confinement during a brutal crackdown.

Discussing the situation in Gaza, Badran indicated that the enclave suffers from dire conditions.

"The continued blockade on Gaza is unacceptable, and we are in a battle to lift the siege using all means of pressure."

Badran reiterated that “the resistance uses everything to defend itself. The resistance is being tested."

Earlier, an Egyptian security delegation completed a mission in the Gaza Strip in light of Israel's demand that the Palestinian factions end the escalation in the West Bank and return the prisoners.

Tel Aviv also sent messages threatening to assassinate Hamas leaders. The movement rejected all the conditions warning that its patience was running out.

Meanwhile, tensions rose in Israeli prisons after a Hamas prisoner stabbed an Israeli guard in response to the armed targeting of female prisoners.

The prisoners began protesting the Prison Service administration, including closing all departments and returning their meals.

The Palestinian Prisoners' Club noted that if the prison administration continues to escalate the situation, all confrontation options will be on the table.

The senior leadership body of Hamas prisoners announced that it was moving towards dissolving the organization in all prisons, holding the prison administration full responsibility for the deteriorating situation.
