Just as temperatures are set to rise this weekend, Haltwhistle outdoor pools are going to re-open in time for Easter.
The North East's most popular outdoor pool is just days away from re-opening for 2019, right on cue for the warm weather forecast for the Bank Holiday weekend.
Located in the heart of Hadrian’s Wall Country, off the A69 from Newcastle about 34 miles away, Haltwhistle leisure centre has three outdoor pools: a 25 metre pool, learner pool and paddling pool with fun toys for toddlers and babies.
All of the pools are heated to 83F/28c and are constantly supervised by qualified lifeguards at all times.
There is also a giant flume slide which operates at regular intervals during the day during public sessions and an inflatable course.

The centre's opening times are:
Monday: 9am - 9pm
Tuesday: 9am - 9pm
Wednesday: 9am - 9pm
Thursday: 9am - 9pm
Friday: 9am - 9pm
Saturday & Sunday: 10am - 4pm
How much is it to get in?

In the event of poor weather, customers will be charged special session swimming prices. The decision will be made each morning and will remain for the remainder of the day, regardless if the weather changes.
