Halsey is every Lakers fan right now. This season has been an absolute nightmare for them.
They came in with the high expectations of winning a championship, as basically any team with LeBron James does at the beginning of the season. But as things have slowly played out so far, they’re looking less and less like a contender by the day.
But on Friday night? They hit the lowest of their lows. They blew a 13-point lead to the Sacramento Kings in the 4th quarter. The Kings sent the game into overtime. Then they sent it into another overtime. Then they sent it into ANOTHER overtime, before eventually winning.
And poor, poor Halsey. She was forced to watch all of this from a seating booth in an Applebees. Applebees, y’all.

She called it purgatory. And it must’ve been. She wanted to leave so badly — Applebees is a fine establishment, but you probably shouldn’t spend more than an hour or two in there. It does something to your soul.
And here she was, watching a three (!!!) hour basketball game where the Lakers — her favorite team — just dropped stink bomb after stink bomb.
She was miserable. Clearly.
