Haloti Ngata announces his retirement in the best way ever

The lifespan of NFL players varies, often times depending on position. For some players, the dream lasts only a few seasons, while others are fortunate enough to have a long, fulfilling career.

Take DT Haloti Ngata for instance. The former first round pick who won a Super Bowl with the Baltimore Ravens in Super Bowl XLVII has finally decided to call it a career after 13 seasons in the NFL.

But Ngata chose to make the announcement in the most unconventional (but awesome) way.

Mount Kilimanjaro is certainly a first when it comes retirement press conferences.

Ngata finishes his career with 32.5 sacks.

In addition to the Ravens, Ngata also spent time with the Detroit Lions and most recently the Philadelphia Eagles.
