Ice cream brand Halo Top is handing out 1,000 free tubs - but only when temperatures rise above those in Ibiza.
The treat will be distributed at a mystery location once the level of heat in the UK puts the holiday island in the shade.
The move coincides with new research from Halo Top with 20 per cent of people polled saying they look at the forecast up to four times more often than ever before.
Some 44 per cent of respondents said the weather topped the list of topics they’d resorted to bringing up to fill awkward silences on Zoom calls.
Nearly a quarter even admitted bragging to friends, family, and colleagues when the UK was hotter than where they were holidaying, and, 24 per cent have been envious of friends at home because UK’s been hotter than their holiday destination.
Fans should keep an eye on Halo Top’s Instagram channel, where the free tubs will be announced once the UK is hotter than Ibiza.
There is also a chance to claim one of the 1,000 ice cream tubs via hotterthanibiza.co.uk/halotop on a first come, first served basis.
