Acura: “The Test” (Starts at 00:06) – USA
This Acura advert from the US will have extra resonance for anyone who enjoyed Channel 4’s series Humans as it taps into the same uncanny sense of otherness we get when we see near perfect replicas of our species. It isn’t clear at first why the engineer is strapping these “people” into the car but when the penny drops, it delivers a clever claim about Acura’s customer care.

Domino’s Pizza: “Only Domino’s Will Do” (Starts at 01:08) – UK
According to this funny advert, there are times when only Domino’s will do. It looks at fast food suggestions through the three decades that the brand has been around and reasonably comes to the conclusion that nothing can compare with the pleasure of sinking your teeth into cheese-sodden dough triangles brought to your door.

Halo 5: Guardians: “The Hunt Begins” (Starts at 01:41) – UK
If video gaming doesn’t float your boat, then you’re going to be a bit mystified by this advert for Halo 5 … not least because the other four Haloes probably passed you by. But – take it from us – the launch of this game is significant and this impressive film is going to stoke the excitement of the aficionados to a frenzy.

BMW: “Superstitions” (Starts at 03:15) – USA

Breast Cancer Now: “A Bigger Bounce” (Starts at 03:52) – UK
An astonishing, spellbinding piece of work for Breast Cancer Now from director Frankie Caradonna that will leave you silent and shellshocked. The sheer power of its rawness is something that isn’t easily achieved these days and it’s a highly effective and moving piece of film.
