Halloween weather for Falkirk area guising and it's no treat

Halloween is going to be wet and windy across Falkirk, so grab the water proofs if you're heading out trick or treating.

On Saturday October, 30, heavy rain in the morning will clear away followed by bright spells and a few showers, these will be mainly in the west. Highs of 12C.

It will become chilly in the evening under clear skies.

For Sunday October, 31, Halloween itself, weather is set to be rather unsettled with further spells of heavy rain or showers, which could last well into the evening. Highs of 11c.

Temperatures are also expected to fall to single figures on Sunday night, with lows of around 7C forecast for Falkirk.

A number of Scots children (and adults) are expected to hit the streets.

Halloween celebrations were widely cancelled last year due to coronavirus restrictions.

But with the majority of rules lifting back in August, it appears that guising is once again back on the cards.
