Halloween warning as Dublin gardai seize massive haul of fireworks, drugs, and counterfeit goods

Gardai have issued a Halloween warning after a large number of fireworks were seized during a raid in Dublin.

The search also found multiple drugs and counterfeit designer goods in the Ballyfermot area yesterday.

Illegal fireworks worth €2,600 were discovered as part of Operation Tombola.

A garda spokesperson said on social media: "Please stay safe this Halloween - fireworks are both illegal and dangerous."

Additionally, officers also seized counterfeit designer good representing a potential loss of €16,500 to the exchequer, €700 of suspected cocaine, and €100 Cannabis Herb.

The search was carried out by gardai attached to the "L" District Burglary Response Unit (BRU).
