Funk up your Halloween costume this year by lacing up a pair of roller skates and getting spooky.
Newry, Mourne and Down District Council have organised quirky events away from the traditional style Halloween celebrations - and are hosting two 'roller skating discos' this month.
Taking place in Cloughreagh and Crossmaglen Community Centres, the events are open to all skating ability over the age of five and cost £1 per skater.
For those who are beginners, roller skates will be provided, or the more experienced skater can dust off their own boots.
Newry, Mourne and Down District Council Chairperson, Councillor Charlie Casey told Belfast Live that the events will get people in the 'Halloween mood.'
She added: "For those brave enough to add a pair of roller skates to their Halloween outfit this year, this is a great opportunity for some family fun at Cloughreagh and Crossmaglen Community Centre.
"Fancy dress is optional at these Roller Skating Discos but there will be plenty of spooky music and lighting to get everyone in the Halloween mood."
The Cloughreagh Community Centre disco will take place on Wednesday 30 October at 8pm and the second at Crossmaglen Community Centre on Thursday 31 October at 2pm.
