And Isa star Jane is walking a Tam o ’Shanter trail for virtual Tamfest.

The main event will take place on Sunday, October 25. That date will see a packed schedule online with a variety of talented entertainers.  But there have been highlights during the build up this month.

Event founder Meredith McCrindle "Tamfest is Ayrshire’s premier family Halloween festival. Rooted in heritage and inspired by the apocryphal Tam o’ Shanter poem by Robert Burns, it is a festival unlike any other

“For this year only Tamfest is going online and direct to your home. We have gone worldwide this year and along with the rich talent of Ayrshire we have over 70 interactive activities, acts and so much more. We are really excited to bring Tamfest to our biggest audience yet”

Children and adults can enter a competition to paint  a scene or character from the Tam o’Shanter poem. Adults can win a canvas from artist Craig Campbell and there will also be prizes for kids.

To enter tag a picture of the artwork to Facebook pages Craig Campbell Art or TamFest Ayr or Instagram @craigcampbellartofficial or @tamfestayr. The closing date is Friday October 23.
