It's the time of year for a fright or two.. and at a West Belfast school they have timed one to perfection.
At Bunscoil an tSleibhe Dhuibh in Ballymurphy, the P7 pupils organise a fancy dress disco every year.
And this year there were a few people dress up to spook the parents coming in, as you can see in the video above.
One parent is given the fright of his life when a carefully disguised pupil jumps from beside a tree.
Principal Pilib Misteil told Belfast Live: "To set the scene some pupils hid out in the grounds and spooked parents coming in.
"There were a few choice exclamations! Everyone thought it was good fun but the parent spooked in the clip will be a little more cautious coming in from now on.
"Píosa beag craic to start the night!"
