Halloween Monster Mash led by Belfast Irish Dancers

A group of four Irish dancers rocked the stage at Belfast's Halloween Monster Mash on Sunday evening in a spooktacular jig.

Niamh Murray, Suzanne Johnston, Jessica O'Neill and Fionnuala McLean of Celtic Fusion were approached by Belfast City Council after Belfast Live shared a video of their performance at lead dancer Niamh's brother's wedding.

Speaking after the event, Niamh said they were blown away by the crowds' support of the mash-up performance to Michael Jackson and Ghostbusters.

The Belfast woman told Belfast Live: "It was such an unreal atmosphere and we were over the moon to be asked to open the Halloween event.

"We just loved every second of it and being able to incorporate fun upbeat songs to our dancing just shows how diverse the Irish Dancing scene is.

"It's not all traditional Irish music and I think it's a great way of showing how cultural it really is."
