Halloween house in Newtownabbey sets the standard for spooky decor

For this Newtownabbey family, Halloween is their Christmas... and it's fair to say they go all out.

The O'Neill family have created a Halloween spectacular at their home in advance of their favourite time of the year.

Mum Nicola told Belfast Live that she was helped by her three kids, James, 16, Aaliyah, 13, and Kaiden, eight.

It's made up of a spooky collection of ghosts and ghouls and all in-between.

Nicola said: "I've been decorating since I had kids but I've been taking it outside for about six years.

"The kids all helped put things together. I still have more to do - I'm trying to get my hands on a life size skeleton for my son's electric chair he is making.

"Our creepy dolls are almost finished and read to go out and play - Halloween is our Christmas!"
