People dressed in Halloween costumes such as popular anime characters and zombies take pictures at the "scramble crossing" in front of Shibuya Station in Shibuya Ward, Tokyo, on Saturday night. However, the cheery atmosphere gave way to chaos later in the night as five people were arrested on suspicion of crimes such as assault and taking up-skirt photos of a woman. In another case, a light truck became trapped in a crowd and was overturned by hooligans. The driver escaped from the truck uninjured.
