A bone-chilling Halloween scarefest promises to be so scary it comes with a warning.
Bosses at the Blackpool Pleasure Beach say the Journey To Hell Freak Nights have "set a new bar for the fear factor".
The event, which runs for four days as part of the larger Vampire Beach programme, is a late-night experience where "victims" are guided through a series of themed "scare zones" and live action horror after the park has closed.
Guests are cautioned the event will give you the "fright of your life" with extreme content - where visitors are given a safe-word to use if they get too scared.
While the organisers are reluctant to give too much away, they have revealed the scare zones extend into never before seen parts of Blackpool Pleasure Beach, the MEN reports.
Areas include a Ouiji themed paranormal theme, a scare maze, a network of previously unseen underground horror tunnels and an S&M arena, plus the the fearful ICON and the theatrical and realistic Pasaje Del Terror - although further details have not yet been revealed.
A full list of potentially terror-triggering themes have been released by the park, to advise guests exactly what they are in for before they book their tickets.
Those embarking on the Journey to Hell are warned it will include;
- Sexual Content
- Latex
- Confined spaces
- Offensive language
- Blackout hoods
- Low/ no visibility
- Loud noises
- Strobe lighting
It is also advised that the whole experience is a "physically demanding environment and and is in no way suitable for those with a nervous or weak dispositon.
Those who do get too frightened while on the experience are escorted to the nearest possible emergency exit.
The Journey to Hell opens its doors to the public from October 27 - 31, 2019 with experiences running at 6.30pm, 8pm and 9.30pm. Tickets are £29 each.
