The Gospel Rising Music Festival comes to Dublin city centre for the first time this month.
Now in its tenth year, the event will take place in a number of venues across North Dublin City.
Leading Irish and international choral experts will run workshops on performance styles, choreography, soloist techniques, harmonising and a Capella throughout the weekend.

The festival also will feature a concert at St Francis Xavier’s Church, Gardiner St, featuring Discovery Gospel Choir, Gardiner St Gospel Choir, Bray Gospel Choir, SUSO Gospel Choir & Virgina Gospel Choir,
The weekend’s flagship event, Super Soul Sunday, takes place in Mounjoy Square Park from 1pm to 5pm.
This free concert will feature gospel music performances, workshops, dancing and children’s entertainment.
The workshops are open to the whole community, one specifically for young people, one for the whole community as a short taster gospel choir music experience and the final workshop, which is a ticketed session, is run by members of The Delorentos.
Performances will include Ardú Vocal Ensemble, Dublin Gospel Choir, Shannon Gospel Choir, Sandymount Gospel Choir and many more.
Gospel Rising takes place from Friday 17 to Sunday 19 May.
