Halle Berry rarely disappoints when it comes to fashion and the Oscars 2021 were no different.
The glam actress revealed a brand new hairdo for the occasion and an incredible dress - oh, showed off her new man too.
The 54-year-old looked stunning after chopping off her hair into a bob.
The cut showcased her famously youthful and beautiful complexion, while the micro fringe gave it that slightly edgier vibe.
While the face-framing cut with a micro fringe may have came as a shock to some, she had already teased a new style on social e.
She updated her fans of a potential style change in the hours before the awards and told her fans to "stay tuned".
Halle had recently been sporting much longer hair but it certainly appears that she prefers a shorter cut.
And fans were quick to take to social media to share their appreciation at her new look.
One commented on Twitter : "I love Halle Berry's short haircut. She is always amazing with short hair."
Another tweeted: ""I love the new hairstyle..but NOBODY can rock that Halle cut like Halle."
She complimented the cut with a purple strapless Dolce & Gabbana dress that elegantly floated to the floor.
And she made sure the world seen it in all its glory as she daintily lifted it from the floor to allow it to fan out for pics.
But the dress wasn't to be worn in an acceptance speech this time. The star wasn't up for any awards but did hand out a famous gong.
As for the man on her arm - musician and boyfriend Van Hunt accompanied her to the ceremony.
The pair first announced they were an item last year and have appeared to go from strength to strength.
She posted a loved-up post earlier this month of the couple cuddling in while Van played his guitar.
She captioned the post: "i'll be ya groupie baby, cause you are my superstar..... who's gonna watch BRIC Jazz Fest with me tomorrow?"
