Its checks, available at Halfords and Halfords Autocentres, cover five areas of the car and these are:
Headlights
Brake lights
Wiper blades
Batteries
Windscreen chips
The check-over also includes an MOT due date reminder. The offer is free, with no obligation to buy anything.
Also available for those who want it is a 10-point car check for £15 which includes all of the above plus checks and top-ups of tyre tread and inflation; oil level; screenwash and Ad Blue - exhaust treatment - and coolant.
